| Juliano Prado holds a second degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He began his career in Brazil under Master Moises Muradi, founder of the celebrated Brazilian Lotus Club. Juliano is a decorated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor, as well as the former Gladiator Challenge Lightweight Champion (MMA) and a black belt in Judo. Recently, Juliano was named as one of the coaches for the United States Grappling Team. This team was comprised of athletes from all over the country and in September 2007 they swept all 9 gold medals at the Grappling World Championships in Antalya, Turkey. Juliano has trained with some of the world's top fighters, including former UFC lightweight champion B.J. Penn, former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz, current UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson and many others. |
